Submission Guidelines 

Participants worldwide are invited to electronically submit an extended abstract of their presentation or paper.

The abstracts will be reviewed and prospective participants will receive a notification of acceptance.

The final step for participants is to submit their final manuscript.


Instructions for preparing extended abstracts

Please read the following guide carefully and abide by all instructions listed below.

  1. All submissions must be written in English and submitted via ExOrdo before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  2. Authors can only select Topics from one group.
  3. All extended abstracts need to be single column, double space, 11-12 pt font size,  max. 5 pages and max. 1.500 words w/o bibliography.
  4. A list of references in the bibliography is mandatory.
  5. No indication of authors and their affiliation is to be made in the extended abstract.

Non-compliance with the official submission guidelines may lead to rejection of your submission.

Please leave out any indication of authors and their affiliation, as the review process will be blind.


Instructions for preparing the final manuscript

Please read the following guide carefully and abide by all instructions listed below.

  1. All submissions must be written in English and submitted via ExOrdo before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  2. All final submissions need to be double column, single space, 10 pt font size, A4 paper size and a maximum of 8 pages.
  3. A list of references in the bibliography is mandatory.
  4. A full list of authors and their affiliation is to be made in the final manuscript.

Non-compliance with the official submission guidelines may lead to rejection of your submission.

Digital Poster Presentation Guidelines

Instructions for preparing the digital poster presentation

For the first time, this years eGrid will be a fully digital workshop. Hence, the poster session will take place in a special format as well.

All the posters need to be a pre-recorded PowerPoint presentation with a maximum length of 10 minutes. A life Q&A Session via Zoom (approx. 5 min.) will conclude your presentation.

Please read the following guide carefully and abide by all instructions listed below.

  1. All digital posters must be presented in English and submitted via ExOrdo before the deadline. Late submissions will not be accepted.
  2. All digital posters need to be in MPEG4 format.
  3. All digital posters need to have a maximum length of 10 minutes.
  4. All digital posters need to include a clearly audible audio track guiding through the presentation.
  5. All digital posters need to start with an introduction of the presenter and must close with a phrase stating your availability for the subsequent 5 minutes life Q&A.
  6. All digital posters must include the title slide of the eGrid2020 template.

A picture-in-picture of the presenter guiding through the digital poster is not necessary.

Non-compliance with the official submission guidelines may lead to rejection of your submission.
